The Business of Hospitality Education Symposium

Tuesday, October 13 | 9am-5pm | St. John Studios | Austin, TX

Join us for a full-day education event for the Texas Food & Wine industry presented by HEB and the Texas Food & Wine Alliance.

The Business of Hospitality brings together Texas restaurant and food & wine professionals for an honest, practical conversation about the industry we love.

The event is for owners, operators, GMs and marketing professionals across Texas, built around honest, practical conversations about running a hospitality business right now.

Programming features tracks designed for two core groups within the industry along with a keynote session for all attendees. Session highlights include:

  • The Modern Owners Real Job

  • Influencers + Your Business

  • I Don’t Own It, But I Run It

  • AI In Practice

  • What Employment Lawyers Are Getting Asked About Right Now

  • And lots more!

The Symposium will also feature an in-person information session for the Texas Food & Wine Alliance’s 2026 Grant Program.

Grant applications are open through October 16.

A private co-working space will be available for any part of your work day you can’t miss…we get it!

And, it wouldn’t be a Texas Food & Wine Alliance event without great food - plan to enjoy a light breakfast, hearty lunch and delicious passed apps and Tito’s Vodka cocktails during our closing reception provided by Daffodil Culinary and Sweet Treets Bakery.

Ticket proceeds benefit the Texas Food & Wine Alliance Culinary Grants Program, now in its 15th year.

Please note that this event is for professionals currently operating in hospitality industry looking to learn and connect, not vendors looking to solicit their product or services to attendees. If you have any questions or would like to inquire about sponsorship opportunities, please contact email us at programs@texasfoodandwinealliance.org.
