Texas Iberico's pigs, one of few Iberico herds in the United States, are raised on the Trail's End Ranch in the Texas Hill Country which is woman-led by CEO Sondra Crawford. The company practices pasture rotation to aid in land restoration and allow their livestock to forage native plants – producing some of the healthiest and tastiest meats available. The company, well-known for its whole animal charcuterie, is expanding its product line to include locally made leaf lard, a premium bacon line, and pet treats.

The grant money will aid in the procurement of label artwork and recipe development.
